What about "Planet Terror ? This impressive tape
Robert Rodriguez that worships "Grindhouse " and "Death Proof " from Quentin Tarantino , is a masterpiece of pure sadism, blood spurts and repulsive creatures.
Its plot is based mainly on what we were seeing in recent years: a lethal infection that no one is saved, but this is even more disgusting and cruel.
from human to undead walking deformed with large clots in his face every now and then explode and splash.
But this film goes even further. Rodriguez was encouraged to play with a dangerous topic and tear: the infection was caused by the same Ben Laden now slain. Is not the craziest thing we've heard and flown?.
This tape gives us all sides: a terror-style gore of the two directors, which in turn is funny how it is raised, but that does not fall into the absurd and perfectly accompanies the show, as there are scenes that really lend themselves to occasional black humor joke. We realize that we're making fun of a person fiercely hit by a truck, but it is best that is triple bloody and exaggerated.
On the other hand, gives us various stories within the plot: that of a dancer stripper (Rose McGowan ) being attacked by a zombie who cut a leg, his ex-boyfriend El Wray (Freddy Rodriguez - not related to the director) with whom he meets after a while in an old neighborhood grill and who also puts a powerful weapon that serves as the thigh, a lesbian nurse (Marley Shelton ) working with her husband and no doctor who supports, and an infected military who has her own cure ( Bruce Willis).
Willis makes a master of appearances, others are in charge of Fergie, Black Eyed Peas singer, Naveen Andrews already seen in several productions like Lost (Sayid) and Moses with supporting roles, and Tarantino himself impersonating a military despicable and degenerate.
This film productions parody horror directors like George A. Romero and Lucio Fulci and plays with a seventies style: the film is flawed image (the classic stripes that appear out of nowhere), photography ultra burned, jump and roll, something that fascinated me: the cutting of an erotic scene parodying the loss of the roll. In the '70s and even '80s, the directors did not stop filming such scenes, but that "cut" the rolls of film by way of censorship and personal use, and asking the public apology after the screening. In general, the scene following the cut, everything had changed, the partners had joined, some had already died and others were transformed.
The soundtrack proved to be flawless, excellent. Cuesta forget the scene where Cherry, the stripper take, is running through the wet pavement dead zombies and blood, his steps to the music, transferring a wall and jump to attack the army of infected the other side. That scene is one of the best of the tape, no doubt.
It's funny, everything seems exaggerated, fake, pompous, and I think really wanted to give that impression. Everything is on purpose, there is nothing accidental, everything is a perfect combo of images, sensations and sounds that are combined without boring without sasear, because we leave the room more.
Planet Terror, cloudy, dying, exaggerated, perverse and impeccable work.

" The Day the Earth Stood (" The Day The Earth Stood Still ") from Scott Derrickson could be analyzed in two very different ways.
Sometimes life plays tricks on us and separates us from people we love and never want to leave .
It's my turn ... after that my fellow bloggers to give their verdict on the film critic, I finally went to the cinema to see it and expose my respects and contrary matching as a lover of healthy debate and foundations.
" Mirrors" ("Mirror claims") is extremely distressing and disturbing, with few films I've felt so helpless and passive.
" Awake" ("Awake" or also known as "Under anesthesia") of Joby Harold provokes mixed feelings. On one side is extremely dramatic for your story, your tense scenes and mainly by its subject, yet it lacks a bit of everything.
Uruguay. Beautiful beaches, a house on the sand, a strong breeze and the sound of the sea. Alex spends his days avoiding others, confronting its problems and fears. People do not look like a normal person, is a 15 years it takes pills to be less of a man and finally have an identity.
Scene 1: A couple goes into therapy because of marital problems. You see them sitting in separate chairs (for so are separated). "More of the same", I once sat in the chair of cinema.
Seeing the first images of "Batman The Dark Knight" ( Christian Bale), was shocked with the new villain who proposes the director Christopher Nolan . Seeing with a mask and purple suit that I knew immediately who he was, beyond the end of the last tape we have made clear in advance who it was. With his face cut and makeup smeared, as if someone had thrown a bucket of water would have put a wet cloth on the skin, called the attention and gets all the rewards from the outset, with its macabre laughter and their innate evil.
The film version of "Super Agent 86 " ("Get Smart"), directed by Peter Sigal is not as bad as the fans do not believed series. Perhaps the resemblance of the actor with the legendary Dom Adams or perhaps because this production has its exceptions: sense of humor but not much like the strip, the clumsy figure of Maxwell Smart is preserved, as well as the agent 99, and if we version in Castilian, we enjoyed the original voice of Jorge Arvizu, who gave her life in the old English agent. For fans of the old play, this film promised much and I knew it would be full of platitudes.
