Day Before Period Snot

Rodríguez + Tarantino = explosive mixture

What about "Planet Terror ? This impressive tape
Robert Rodriguez that worships "Grindhouse " and "Death Proof " from Quentin Tarantino , is a masterpiece of pure sadism, blood spurts and repulsive creatures.
Its plot is based mainly on what we were seeing in recent years: a lethal infection that no one is saved, but this is even more disgusting and cruel.
from human to undead walking deformed with large clots in his face every now and then explode and splash.
But this film goes even further. Rodriguez was encouraged to play with a dangerous topic and tear: the infection was caused by the same Ben Laden now slain. Is not the craziest thing we've heard and flown?.
This tape gives us all sides: a terror-style gore of the two directors, which in turn is funny how it is raised, but that does not fall into the absurd and perfectly accompanies the show, as there are scenes that really lend themselves to occasional black humor joke. We realize that we're making fun of a person fiercely hit by a truck, but it is best that is triple bloody and exaggerated.
On the other hand, gives us various stories within the plot: that of a dancer stripper (Rose McGowan ) being attacked by a zombie who cut a leg, his ex-boyfriend El Wray (Freddy Rodriguez - not related to the director) with whom he meets after a while in an old neighborhood grill and who also puts a powerful weapon that serves as the thigh, a lesbian nurse (Marley Shelton ) working with her husband and no doctor who supports, and an infected military who has her own cure ( Bruce Willis).
Willis makes a master of appearances, others are in charge of Fergie, Black Eyed Peas singer, Naveen Andrews already seen in several productions like Lost (Sayid) and Moses with supporting roles, and Tarantino himself impersonating a military despicable and degenerate.
This film productions parody horror directors like George A. Romero and Lucio Fulci and plays with a seventies style: the film is flawed image (the classic stripes that appear out of nowhere), photography ultra burned, jump and roll, something that fascinated me: the cutting of an erotic scene parodying the loss of the roll. In the '70s and even '80s, the directors did not stop filming such scenes, but that "cut" the rolls of film by way of censorship and personal use, and asking the public apology after the screening. In general, the scene following the cut, everything had changed, the partners had joined, some had already died and others were transformed.
The soundtrack proved to be flawless, excellent. Cuesta forget the scene where Cherry, the stripper take, is running through the wet pavement dead zombies and blood, his steps to the music, transferring a wall and jump to attack the army of infected the other side. That scene is one of the best of the tape, no doubt.
It's funny, everything seems exaggerated, fake, pompous, and I think really wanted to give that impression. Everything is on purpose, there is nothing accidental, everything is a perfect combo of images, sensations and sounds that are combined without boring without sasear, because we leave the room more.
Planet Terror, cloudy, dying, exaggerated, perverse and impeccable work.
