Far from what was expected lost

The second part of " X-Files" is bleak, but is interesting for the police case in which is based. But that's just a case in the hands of the FBI and dies there and the tape ends. While
very particular case require the help and experience of Dr. Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson ) and Agent Fox Molder ( David Duchovny), could well be resolved as it is presented at first. The first scene is in the midst of the snow, raking, police dogs and working hard. From time to time a man kneels down and discover that buried a human limb is removed. This obviously is not surprising, intriguing and convinces us to stay until the end.
But what has this to do with the "X Files" as we know them?, What Scully and Molder can help?.
And the answer is: nothing. These two agents are now away from all that (she works in a hospital and closely follows the study of a complex treatment for a minor, and he neglected at home, bearded and aged no desire to return to the FBI) are called to collaborate in this case somewhat indecipherable. Molder and Scully is convinced to return to his old job, but everything comes back later. She repents and follows him.
The film is notable perhaps for its internal psychology. Fox decides to get back in this kind of mysterious cases to follow the belief that "need to believe" in what you are doing because of what happened to his sister for a long time (and we already played in the original series). Dana operates the child with an unconventional method to investigate itself without any security, but plays his son lost in it and not allowed to let it die, so "need to believe", to be sure itself and not give up. Not in vain the name of this second film that proposes the director Chris Carter called "I want to believe."
As we see, everything is connected, deeply connected. But I still can see the merits. How does all this with the X-Files?.
The only link I find is that in the midst of all this mess of data, and mysteries suspects is a man who has visions and connects deeply with the victims of a serial murder. Know where they are, how they feel and if they are alive or not. This man is the father of Joseph, at the same time accused of pedophilia. But this is the man who kneeling in the snow, find the evidence.
All very mixed in my opinion, all very fetched making the film in a film worthy of being seen as a police case, but that has nothing to do with Scully and Molder of the series.
Something very similar happened to me to see the first film of the records. I could not understand everything, every detail, but at least there was an apparent relationship between her and the series: a massive infection that was raging between humans with paranormal dye.
also were not good yields after the series, tried to do something completely different and does not meet expectations. I'm
thousand times with the series that devoured more than boys.
